International Foundation in Computer Science

This programme offers students new to Higher Education the opportunity to experience key elements of study that mirror what they can expect when they progress to bachelor’s study in a Computer Science degree. In each semester English language constitutes 35% of the programme and students successfully completing the programme are expected to be able to demonstrate English language skill at the CEFR B2 level (IELTS 6.0).

  • Mathematics for Computing
  • The History of Computing Architectures
  • Foundations of Computational Thinking and Programming
  • Foundations of Networking and the Internet
Course Length:

2 semesters = 15 weeks per semester (30 weeks in total)

English requirement:

Min of IELTS 5.0 (4.5)

Pre-Masters in Computer Science

The programme will provide international students with potential access to to study Computer Science at a Masters level. In each semester English language constitutes 35% of the programme and students successfully completing the programme are expected to be able to demonstrate English language skill at the CEFR B2+ level (IELTS 6.5).

Course Length:

2 semesters = 12 weeks per semester (24 weeks in total)

English requirement:

Min of IELTS 5.5 (5.0)
